Information You Submit
Text entered in a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, goes to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that may include an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and time stamps. Aggregated log data helps maintain the service and shows which material visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How the Data Is Used
These limited data support site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to government portals, Maryland and Montgomery County offices, library collections, or third-party search tools. Information submitted after leaving this site falls under the destination's privacy policy. A third party also provides the sponsored search results and governs data entered there.
Who May Receive Data
Hosting and support providers process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising providers may receive the automatic data noted above. We may also disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
How Data Is Protected
An encrypted connection serves the site, and logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Since there are no user accounts, we hold no site password or account profile for a visitor.
Users Under 18
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor submitted such information so it can be deleted.
Your Maryland Privacy Rights
The Maryland Online Data Privacy Act, Commercial Law Title 14, Subtitle 47, gives covered consumers rights that may include access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-outs. Its public-information exception means it does not erase an accurate record held open by government law. Because we retain little visitor data, a request generally involves checking contact messages and available server logs. Use the Contact page to submit one. Aspen Hill, Montgomery County, and Maryland public records remain under their custodians' control, so requests about those records must go to the holding office.
Policy Updates
Any revised policy will appear on this page. Using the site after an update signifies acceptance of the revised policy.
